Updates - 12/31/03

Updates will be free for at least a year from purchase.  All updates will be downloadable from my web site and e-mails will be sent out to all registered owners when they appear on the site.

Update 1.2.4 (5/26/2002) This will update version 1.0.4 or higher to 1.2.4.

* This update will automatically add the PEC colors as part of the update.

*This program will also add an item to your START menu called Leave Me In Stitches Reset - an error fix program.

Thread Colors (10/7/2001) You need version 1.1.9 or higher, run this program to reload ALL the threads into the thread database.  These include the recent updates of PEC, Mettler, Melco/Arc Poly, and Melco/Arc Rayon colors.

bulletThis version sports a new 3D view and zoom feature.  You can now see a much closer rendering of what your stitch out will look like on different colored fabrics.  The new 3D version of the picture will also show up on the run-sheet printout.

How often, and how are they distributed

The updates will be as often as I get done with feature additions and changes.  I know that some of the features I am very anxious to get started on because they are things I can't wait for myself.  

I am one of those people that believes that the end user should be the one with the say in what the software does.  After all, aren't you the one using it?  

The updates will be available on the web as an update to your existing program.  Whenever there is an update all registered users will receive an e-mail with the new features and how to download, install, and any documentation changes for the new version.

Errors and their fixes:

When opening a picture - the TYPE box is blank. This happens if you have an outdated Microsoft common dialog file. The file comdlg32.dll needs to be at least version: 4.72.3110.2 and the file comdlb32.ocx needs to be at version 6.0.84.18.  This program will simply check for these two files and install them if they are not at the minimum version number needed.

GDI32.DLL missing or error- This error is caused because you do not have a Microsoft Office DLL on your machine.  The fix is to download the update version 1.1.24 (7/4/01) or higher which has the need for this unused DLL removed.
setup_v1125_upd.exe (12/16/2001)

Program will not start without getting an error- This error is caused because there is some problem in the registry values used by the Leave Me In Stitches software.  If you have version 1.1.25 (12/16/01) or higher installed, you should have a program in your menu called Leave Me In Stitches Reset which you can run to fix these errors.

mscomctrl.ocx error or comctl32.ocx error - This error seems to happen when you have upgraded to Windows ME (or another O.S.) that does not come with that .ocx included.  This is a quick-fix program to install this missing OCX file for you.
