2004 pricing is based on
thousands of stitches in the design with the exception of large designs where it
is more economical for you to pay by the hour.
Up to 4" square which fits most home
embroidery hoops and works well on hats, shirts, CD cases, and jackets.
 | $75(v) minimum fee (includes first 7000 stitches with up to six colors) |
 | $9(v) per additional 1000 stitches to 15,000 stitches |
 | $7(v) per additional 1000 stitches to 30,000 stitches |
 | $5(v) per additional 1000 stitches beyond 30,000
 | Stitch count will always be rounded up to the nearest 500 stitches. |
 | $2 per additional color over six colors |
 | If I estimate wrong on the count, you get the lower
of the two prices. |
|
Up to 12" square which fits industrial machines. Any
Jacket sized designs will be test sewn on an industrial machine to ensure stitch
ability.
 | $150(v) minimum fee (includes first 6 hours, with up to four colors) |
 | $35(v) per hour over 6 hours |
In many cases I receive artwork that needs some work in a
graphics program before the digitizing process can begin. Artwork that is
web-ready is not the same as artwork for the embroidery or printing processes.
I will let you know if this applies to your order before beginning.
Supplying me with the highest resolution or vector artwork will work best and
reduce or eliminate these fees entirely.
 | $45(v) per hour billed in 1/2
hour increments, 1/2 hour minimum |
Copyrights
Don't forget there are copyright laws. In order to have something digitized you
will need to own the copyright on that picture or drawing. Even if you draw it
yourself does not mean that you have the legal right to have it digitized: For
example, Warner Brothers own the copyright for the image of Daffy Duck - this
copyright includes anything that can be readily identified as Daffy Duck when
you look at it. Request for written permission from
copyright holder will be required if there is any question.
